  1. Brandon Bigelow says:

    Dad,
I don’t know if I ever told you, and I’m sorry for that, but I looked up to you more than you will ever know. You taught me so much, wether I wanted to learn or not. You were the only person on God’s green earth I ever feared, but I respected the hell out of you. Every passing day gets a little harder knowing I can’t just pick up the phone or stop by to talk or catch up. We had so many plans, so much to do but unfortunately for us, we ran out of time. These past few years with you have been the best years of my life. I will remember you always and speak of you often for your memory will live in my heart and mind forever. I will live my life in your honor in the things that I do and take you with me to the places I go. I promise to be the good man you raised and continue to make you proud.

Good Bye, Until I See You Again, Rest in Eternal Paradise. I love you.
    Your loving son,
    Brandon Bigelow

    Tecumseh’s quote:

“So live your life so the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their views, and demand that they respect yours. Love your life, perfect your life, beautify all things in your life. Seek to make your life long and of service to your people. Prepare a noble death song for the day when you go over the great divide. Always give a word or sign of salute when meeting or passing a stranger if in a lonely place. Show respect to all people, but grovel to none. When you arise in the morning, give thanks for the light, for your life and strength. Give thanks for your food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason for giving thanks, the fault lies in yourself. Touch not the poisonous firewater that makes wise ones turn to fools and robs them of their visions. When your time comes to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song, and die like a hero going home.”

I really do not have any words. I’m shocked he just made sausage and posted about his new stove he picked up . I worked with Brian and because of him I received the same pay that the rest of the laborers were receiving . I was always excited to see his posts of things he picked up and I am truly going to miss him . He has a big heart that he was never afraid to share . I am thankful I was a part of Brian’s life . My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. Rest In Peace my friend RIP

  9. Jessica Knapp says:

There will never be a day where I won’t miss you and wish you were still here, where I won’t want to call you on my way to work or send you pictures of the food I made knowing that you were the one who taught me to cook in the first place. I still hear your belly laugh clear as day in my head and the sound of your voice when you say, “I love you buddy.” There isn’t anything on the earth that will make the hole in my chest feel smaller or lessen the size of the pit in my stomach. Your memory will live on in the hearts of every person that loved you and I will never stop sharing your stories and making sure everyone knows how much of an amazing person you are.
Please watch over us all as you always have. I hope we continue to make you proud ❤️
