Craig Verlon Trickle

Craig Verlon Trickle born in Ludington Michigan February 25, 1971 passed unexpectedly in Portage, Indiana. Craig was a friend too many, he had a heart of gold. In his younger years and into his adult years he was the life of the party. Craig knew how to make people smile and have a good time no matter what the occasion. You can ask anyone who knew him well, he could also drive you crazy, with his jokes, teasing and nonchalantly pointing out the elephant in the room. Craig grew up in Big Flats and enjoyed having livestock and horses. On occasion you could catch him butchering with his brothers, neighbors and friends. He was known for most likely having nine lives. In recent years his life was simplified he was blessed with some time with Family and meeting his nephew. He was proud to be an uncle and that his nephew carried on his father‘s name Verlon. He had great friends and neighbors as he always called Adams County home. He loved people, talking, fishing, garage sales, flea markets, the scenery as he rode his Harley. He enjoyed cooking for himself and others especially a good steak on the grill. Most people would say he was darn good at it… even though he did get a little too experimental with his cooking at times. It usually turned out good. Craig followed in his father‘s footsteps as a boilermaker for the local 69. His profession gave him the opportunity to travel and meet new people. Well Craig was away, he read the Bible three times. He had struggles in his life. The struggle is over. When he gets to heaven I hope the first person he sees is my dad.(Elmer Sparby) They will both be smiling. Craig is survived by his mom, Sandy, her significant other, Lee, brother Kevin his wife Melinda, nephew, Verlon, brother Dustin his wife Kayla, his two children, Elizabeth and Ethan, Sarah Trickle ex wife of Dustin, his stepmom Janis, aunts, uncles, cousins and his significant other Cindy. Craig will be cremated and no service will be held.
