David Scott Foster, age 63, a long-time resident of Adams, Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
He was born in Cudahy, Wisconsin to Ray and Marie (nee Rossignol), who survive. Also surviving are his loving wife of 21 years, JoEllen, 4 children: Amelia Foster of Appleton, Wisconsin, Annette (Lee) Gray of Taylorsville, North Carolina, Andrea Foster of Adams, Wisconsin, and Zachary (Jenna) Foster of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, 2 step-sons: Matthew (Alana) Burch of Rochester Hills, Michigan and Stephen (Erica) Burch of Rutland, Vermont, 13 grandchildren: Bailey Mills, Adam & Abby Gray, Murphy Foster, Ethan, Owen, Aiden & Upton Burch, David, Lauren, Adrianna, Julia & Philip Burch, 3 sisters: Debbie (Les) Ecke of Largo, Florida, DeeAnn (Steve) Doyle of Riverton, Wyoming and DaLene (John) Marlowe of Adams, Wisconsin, “The Mother-in-law” of St. Augustine, Florida, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins.
Dave was a 1976 graduate of Adams-Friendship High School. He was the owner of Foster Septic & Well Service in Adams (having worked for his parents high school on, he purchased the business from them in 2008.) He took great pride in this work and business. He enjoyed hunting, trapping & fishing as well as playing Blackjack and traveling (most recently to Alaska with JoEllen, his mother-in-law, and other family members.)
Due to Covid, his funeral arrangements are private.

We extend the greatest sympathy for Daves family.When he learned,our hearts became very heavy.We will always speak of and remember Dave as our friend and a smart honorable man with a heart of gold.He was always kind to us,and helped us .We first met Dave 30 some years ago, when we needed help w/our old well in our dirt floor basement.10 pm Dave shows up,and taught my husband,sometimes shooting a 22 down a old well works.Anothertime,my 45 year horse was down,Dave came over w/a group of men and my husband,and picked that horse up so she could stand.When she passed,Dave buried her for us,for I could not sell her for meat.Thats the kind soul Dave Scott Foster was.Our greatest sympathies to Daves Family,he’s gone to soon.but now in the arms of the Angels,R.I.P.,,C.M.Wille

We are so saddened by Dave’s passing…..there are just No words. We have known Dave and the Foster family for over 45 years. Other than septic’s, Dave just recently put in a new well for us. Always did a great job. We remember Dave way back in the mid 70’s or so, when Dave was in Horse shows in Easton with our (late daughter) Sheryl. Such good memories! i am so sorry to hear about Daves passing had such a good time chatting with him over my recent septic job you couldnt find a more honest or nice gentleman anywhere hard to handle all the recent deaths, wish there was a memorial service so we could pay our respects one more time to him and his family.
