Diane L. Kopitzke, age 69, of Friendship, Wisconsin died May 21, 2013 at her home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 30th, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Friendship, Wisconsin. Father James P. McNamee will officiate. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. Interment will follow at the Quincy Cemetery.
Diane was born November 9, 1943 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Paul and Marcella (Jachthuber) Kopitzke. She worked for many years at the Adams County Courthouse. Diane enjoyed spending time with her family, watching the nature in her yard, particularly the birds. She also enjoyed sewing with the Quincy Sewing Circle and being a Red Hatter.
Diane will be deeply missed by her family, many friends and her cats.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Marcella Kopitzke

Granddaughter: Chloe Theisen of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
Grandson: Trevor Theisen of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin
Brother: Paul (Kathy) Kopitzke of Battle Creek, Michigan
Sister: Judy Fink of Niles, Michigan

I’m so sorry to hear about Diane’s passing. May our loving Lord welcome her into his loving arms.
I will always remember her for her laughing smile and her funny jokes. She could always tell some
good jokes.
I am Diane’s second cousin. My grandmother was Erna Jachthuber, who was married to Walter.

Diane welcomed us to the neighborhood and what always willing to look out for our property while we were gone. She had a wonderful personality and the kindest heart. We will surely miss her. Our condolences to you all.

Barb, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. I have so many memories of her through our grade school days and always talked to her when I would attend the red hat gatherings. She would always stop and take the time out of whatever she was doing to talk to me whenever she saw me in town. I sure am going to miss that. She was a special person with the kindest heart. Many times Diane came to my rescue at Planning & Zoning and I missed her when she retired. May God comfort those she left behind.
