
Donald J. Ouimet
Donald was born on October 24, 1934 in Boyd, Wisconsin to Art and Lena (Huesenia) Ouimet. He graduated from Gilman High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War from December 1st, 1955 until his honorable discharge on December 31st, 1961.
Donald was united in marriage to Janet Volkey on June 22nd, 1983 in Adams, Wisconsin. He owned and operated a motel in Wisconsin Dells and later worked at the Country Market and held various positions prior to his retirement. Donald enjoyed working alongside Janet, creating and selling crafts, woodworking, gardening, and enjoying the outdoors. He also shared his love of music through singing and playing the guitar.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents Art and Lena Ouimet, brother Harold, and sister Florence. He is survived by his loving wife, Janet; children Don (Tammy), Christine (Tim), Matt (Carla Connor), and Nicole; stepsons Larry, Vince, and Todd Volkey; grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters Betty Hass and Delores Mhyre; nieces, great nieces, and nephews; as well as brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and friends.
