Doris Judy (Petruska) Linzmeier, age 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 11, 2026. Judy was born on September 15, 1941, in Anoka, MN. to Wilhelm and Dora Youngmark. Judy is survived by her sons; Darrin (Nancy) Petruska, Stevens Point, WI., Dustin Petruska, Adams, WI., and her daughter Darcy (Tim Bartels), Necedah, WI. Stepdaughter Marcia Linzmeier, Rapid River, MI., stepsons, Mike (Teresa) Linzmeier, Tomah, WI., Brian (Cindi) Linzmeier, Nekoosa, WI., and Brady Linzmeier, Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Judy had a true gift for creating, making everything she touched into something beautiful. She loved sewing and quilting, often turning fabric into cherished keepsakes for those she loved. Her hands were rarely still—whether she was woodworking, crafting, or baking something delicious to share. She felt most at peace outdoors and happiest surrounded by family, music, and the lively rhythm of polka.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents, first husband; Thomas (Tom) Petruska, second husband; Robert (Bob) Linzmeier, sister; Jean Reiman, brothers; Paul Youngmark, Bruce Youngmark and David Youngmark, and brothers-in-law; Ted Peterson and Edwin Williams.
Per Judy’s wishes, private family services were held at the Mt. Repose Cemetery. Roseberry Funeral Home assisted the family. Visit www.roseberrys.com for online condolences.
Sincere sympathy to all Judy’s family at this difficult time. Hold your families close as you share all the memories. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sorry for your loss. Judy was a special person and a good friend to my mother Lilah. She will be missed.
To the family of Judy: I had the honor of getting to know Judy when she lived on meadowlark by delivering her groceries when Bob could no longer drive. This turned into being able to help your mom to her hair appts, taking her and Bob for date nights, and a few dr appts. Your mom shined the most when talking about Darin, Dusty, and Darcy. Last year I got to see her out and about shopping with her home group twice in one week just as happy as ever. I’m truly saddened by the loss but rejoice for her being out of pain and finding her home in heaven. May God wrap his ever loving around your family so that you find comfort in one another.
Our condolences to all family and friends. All our in our thoughts and prayers.

Dusty & family,
So very sorry for the loss of ya’ll’s Mom, Grandma and friend. We think of you often, Dusty and loosing a parent is never easy. Please know I just said a prayer for you, as I often do when you cross my mind. You’re a good guy(please don’t forget that) and I pray this finds you well?! 🙏✝️♥️ You know lovey & I would wish only the best for you also.
It’s hard not being in Adams anymore and we all go in different directions. We’re actually in Florida at the moment. Lovey is working in Naples and we sold the Tn. land back last fall, as we prayed on it and everything happens for a reason. 🙏 We are still up in Holcombe and now bought a house in Northern Central Florida. 😳 How weird how our plans aren’t always God’s plans?! As, HE above all is in charge. Who knew it reminds us of WI with fresh water fishing, pines and oaks(but has salt water fishing and 1/2 hr from the coast! And so much better than the weather in the winter in WI. and palm trees 🌴 mixed in! Truly Heaven on earth to us!! 🙏✝️🙏 God is good all the time and we always pray and wish for the best for you! Miss seeing your happy smile and laugh. ♥️
Big Hugs, much Love & prayers~Lovey(Curtie) & Michelle Pollex 🥰
