Memories of Gert – we have many! We have known her since we became neighbors in 1986. We spent a lot of time at our cabin across the road, our kids grew up together, and we had many good times! She would come to stay with us in Illinois when she could and made a community of friends here. When her health no longer allowed her to make the trip, we drove up to visit her when we could. We will always remember our last visit when she made us chicken gumbo. We will remember her as being a great cook, and that she loved puzzles and coloring. We have gained so much and learned so much from having known her. She meant a lot to us and we know she is with the angels now. Rest in heavenly peace old friend! Condolences to all her family.
So sorry for your loss. May the good memories comfort you during the hard times.
Sorry for your loss. Prayers for the family.
My condolences to Gertie’s whole family. She was a gem! We had so many fun times over these last couple years. I wish I would’ve had her in my life longer. Always in my heart.
