Harlan was born on September 3, 1949, in Portage, Wisconsin to Clifford and Flossie (Drew) Bloss. He attended Adams-Friendship High School and later proudly served in the United States Army for 8+ years as a mechanic. He served in Germany and did one tour in Vietnam before he was honorably discharged. He worked in the pulpwood business and also did mechanical work and worked on dairy farms.
Harlan enjoyed watching westerns on t.v. and sitting outside watching deer, turkeys, and nature in general. And the unconditional love of his cat KIKI.
Harlan was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Flossie Drew Bloss and siblings Donna Semrow, Richard Bloss and David Bloss, Cheryl Bloss.
Survivors include his siblings Dale Bloss (Cindy) Karen Christensen, Beverly Warner(Stan) Linda (Vera),Teresa Ott, Dennis (Karen),and his significant other Virginia Heckert.
