Ian Lee Cain
Ian Lee Cain, age 40, of Cape Coral, Florida, formerly of Loretta, Wisconsin, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2026, as the result of a tragic accident while doing what came naturally to him—helping others.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Loretta-Draper Cemetery in Loretta.
Ian was born April 14, 1986, in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, to David Reed and Suzanne Joyce (Burt) Cain. He grew up in Darien, Wisconsin, and attended the Delavan-Darien School District before moving with his family to Loretta, where he attended school in Winter. Ian married Whitney Tom on June 8, 2019, in Loretta.
Ian worked for the family business, North Country’s Hardwood Café in Loretta, before moving with his family to Cape Coral. There, he worked selling solar, a job he truly loved. Ian took great pride in his work and was always excited to get up and go to work each day. Music was a big part of Ian’s life, and he was an exceptionally talented guitarist. More than anything, Ian will be remembered for his huge heart and his willingness to help others. If someone needed a hand, Ian was there. He cared deeply for the people around him and was loved by so many. He was a great husband, son, brother, and uncle, and most importantly, a devoted father who adored his children. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Ian was preceded in death by his son, Lennox Alan Cain; maternal grandparents, George and Hazel (Hakes) Burt; paternal grandfather, David L. Cain; brother, Edward Alan Miles; his cousin Joe Burt that he worked alongside with doing roofing for many years, and other extended family members.
Survivors include his wife, Whitney; children, Ellie, Hazel, Althea, and Achilles; parents, Reed and Suzie Cain; sister, Tammy (Jake) Roseberry; brother, Ramsey (Jaclyn) Cain; grandmother, Marilyn Cain, nieces & nephews Fabian, Isaiah, Kylie (Keith), Lily, Veda, Nala, Bella, Wednesday, and Persephone. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

My Heart Breaks For You all, did not know Ian’s Family but knew Ian from Bowlero Cape Coral, was the best of the best, We were both from Wisconsin, so we Clicked, he was a Great Friend, Great Guy, I will miss him!

He was so happy to tell me he was having a Son, and then sent me pictures and name when he had him, He truly Loved his Family,
