James is survived by his two daughters, Christine (Donald) Brooks of Lake Mills, WI and Jami (Joseph) Styx of Trevor, WI; his 5 grandchildren, Aubrey (Derek) Styles, Shea Crary, Samuel Brooks, Caden Brooks, Elijah Styx and 4 great-grandchildren, Callesta, Brayden, Javon, and Kavina Styles; his brother Wayne (Susie) Smith of Adams Friendship, WI; loving girlfriend of 15 years, Mary York; and many extended family, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to his parents and his wife, Bonnie, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Howard, Lloyd, Eleanor, Arlene & Doris. James will surely be missed by many.
Visitation was held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 12, 2024, and from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with Funeral Services commenced at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 13, 2024, at Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 24300 W. Grass Lake Rd., Antioch, IL 60002. Interment immediately followed in Highland Memorial Park, Libertyville, IL. For additional information, call 847-395-4000.
