Jason Michael Dochnahl

Jason Michael Dochnahl, 41, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, leaving behind countless family members, friends, fellow veterans, and loved ones who will miss him deeply.

Born on December 3, 1984, Jason graduated from Adams-Friendship High school 2003. He proudly served his country in the United States Army as an E-5 Sergeant with the 864th Engineer Combat Battalion under Task Force Pacemaker. During his military service, he completed two tours in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. His unit played a vital role in road construction, bridge repair, Forward Operating Base expansions, and route clearance operations throughout Eastern Afghanistan. Jason carried great pride in his service, the men he served beside, and the work they accomplished together.

Outside of the military, Jason had a passion for operating heavy equipment and took pride in hard work through the Local 139 Operators Union. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting, and was a devoted Green Bay Packers fan who rarely missed a game. Jason also had a deep love for music and enjoyed spending time gardening flowers when he was home. He appreciated both the simple and meaningful parts of life.

Known for his outgoing personality, Jason truly never knew a stranger. He was a social butterfly who could strike up a conversation with anyone and make people feel welcomed. His laughter, stories, humor, and larger-than-life presence touched many people throughout his life.

Above all, Jason was the father of Sydney, Alanna, and Erin, who will forever carry memories of him in their hearts.

Jason was deeply loved by many, and his memory will continue to live on through the people whose lives he touched. He is survived by Father Michael and Mothers Teresa and Maggie. His brother Robert and his daughters Ava and Grace, sister Natalie and her daughter Marlena. Heather, his best friend, and companion through his adult life and Mother to their daughters Sydney, Alanna and Erin. Niece Chloe and nephew Mason.

A service celebrating Jason’s life will be held on May 29th, 2026, at Roseberry’s Funeral home in Friendship WI from 2-4pm.

A celebration of life to be announced at a later time.

The family asks for continued thoughts, prayers, and support for his daughters during this incredibly difficult time.
