Jeffrey Alan Anderson, known as “Castle Rock Jeff” by friends, was born on August 25, 1958 in Evanston, IL. Jeff died unexpectedly on July 3, 2021 in Friendship, WI.
Jeff is survived by his significant other, Mary Firari; his best friend, Charles Ross; and close special friends, Jim and Pat Burkart; and many friends in both Wisconsin and Illinois. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alan and Mary Lou Anderson, his brothers Scott and Brian Anderson, and paternal and maternal grandparents.
Jeff had a kind and loving heart. He loved spending time with his friends and cherished them dearly. He enjoyed snowmobiling, UTVing, and boating in the Adams County area. Jeff struggled with addiction most of his adult life. He gave sobriety his best shot for many years, but in the end, his addictions were too powerful for him to overcome.
Those who know Jeff personally are receiving comfort in the knowledge that his struggle is over, and he is now at peace.
A private memorial is planned for late August on Castle Rock Lake. Friends will be notified of arrangements.
