John Morauski
John lived boldly and loved fiercely. He had a larger-than-life presence and personality. Passionate about his faith and unwavering in his convictions, he never hesitated to speak truth, offer encouragement, and share his love for Christ.
He dedicated his life to helping people find hope and restoration. He had a rare ability to meet people in their deepest pain, sharing his knowledge, wisdom, and insight. Through his counseling work, he helped survivors break free from abuse, heal emotional wounds, and rebuild their lives.
Above all, John loved Jesus. He loved his family. And he dearly loved his wife, whom he often described as the other half of his heart. His impact on the lives of others cannot be measured. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
A memorial service celebrating John’s life will be held at Gathering Midwest in Portage, Wisconsin, on June 6. Visitation and pre-service gathering will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the memorial service beginning at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to assist with expenses are appreciated.
John was one in a million! He impacted so many people and won so many souls for Christ! He will be so greatly missed!! Prayers to his family during this hard time! My heart breaks with you!
John was one of my closest friends, and I still can’t believe he’s gone. He made a lasting impact on my life, and I thank God for the years of friendship we shared. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Morauski family during this difficult time. May God’s peace and comfort surround you in the days ahead.
My prayers go out to his family and close friends. For the short time I went to gathering Midwest I could feel the fire for God. He will be missed.
I’m so very sorry. He will be missed greatly.
