Kathleen (Kathy) Bonnie Burg (nee Czysz)

Kathleen (Kathy) Bonnie Burg (nee Czysz), age 68, of Friendship, Wisconsin died peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 19, 2019.

Kathy was born March 20, 1951, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Eugene D. Czysz and Marcella R. (Spychala) Czysz where she lived until moving to Adams County, Wisconsin approximately 30 years ago. As a child, Kathy won 1st place in the Oak Creek Wagon Decorating Contest at American Legion Post 434 and was featured in the local paper. In the late 1970s, Kathy belonged to the WIBC bowling league in Milwaukee where she once bowled a 244 game and was an active member of the Wisconsin Campers Association. Kathy also belonged to a bowling league in Wisconsin Dells during the 1990s.

Kathy will be remembered as having a deep compassion for animals. She nursed strays back to health and had many animals over the years to include a potbelly pig, ferrets, several species of birds, horses, rabbits, fish, dogs, and cats. She loved to cook, play cards, work in her flower gardens, and most importantly, she loved her family.

Kathy is survived by her partner of 29 years: Joseph Reuterskiold of Friendship, WI; 2 Children: Daniel (Gloria) Corbine Jr. of White House, TN and Cherie (Jeffrey) Bignell of Friendship, WI; 2 Step-Sons: Kyle (Dawn) Reuterskiold of Rock Springs, WI and Cody (Kristine) Reuterskiold of Parkersburg, WV; 1 Brother: Dave (Janet) Czysz Sr. of Oak Creek, WI; 12 Grandchildren: Erika, Jamie, Hailey, Jacob, Kyle, Kaden, Bryanah, Colton, Madalyn, Blake, Maysen, and Jaimee; 1 Great Grandson: Scott; 2 Nieces: Carla Czysz and Michele (Jeff) Griffin; 1 Nephew: David Czysz Jr.; great-nieces and nephews, other extended family and beloved friends.

Kathy is preceded in death by both of her Parents and 2 Step-Sons: Nathan and Ryan Reuterskiold.

A private family memorial will be held Saturday, May 25, 2019.
