Kathleen “Kathy” M. Pierce
Kathy was a lifelong resident of Friendship, Wisconsin, where she built a life filled with family, friendship, and community. She proudly worked for the Village of Friendship for over 35 years, dedicating herself to the community she loved.
Born to Betty and Larry Lobenstein, Kathy married Tom Pierce, in 1974. Together, they raised their family in Friendship and created a home filled with countless memories.
Kathy’s greatest gift was the way she cared for people. Regardless of how your path in life crossed with Kathy’s, chances are she spent endless hours talking with you, listening to you, and making sure you were okay. She had a heart for people and always wanted everyone around her to be happy and cared for. Her kindness, conversations, laughter, and genuine concern for others touched more lives than she probably ever realized.
Kathy was greeted in heaven by those who passed before her, and she leaves behind a lifetime of love that will continue through all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Pierce; her daughter, Jen (Brian) Redman; her sons, Jason (Chemere) Pierce and Justin Pierce (Tammy Gillessen); her grandchildren; extended family; and the endless number of friends who were lucky enough to know and love her.
Kathy never wanted anyone to make a fuss over her, in life or in death. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service.
While we will miss her more than words can say, we find comfort knowing that Kathy left this world surrounded by love—and we hope that she was welcomed into heaven with just as much love as she gave so freely to everyone here.
So very sorry for your loss. Our sincere condolences 💙
