Louie S. Koziol Jr.

Louie S. Koziol Jr. age 63 of Cutler township passed away May 30th, 2019 in his home.

Louie was born January 4th, 1956 in Chicago, IL.  Louie graduated high school in Necedah in 1973.  He then attended U.W. Stevens Point and earned a degree in Natural Resources Management and Law Enforcement.  After several short-term employments with Wisconsin DNR, U.S. Forest Service, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services, Louie became a police officer for the village of Necedah and eventually Juneau County.

Louie’s love for the outdoors overtook him and he started up his own wood business. After 30 plus years of going to work, he was now able to play in the woods.  Louie loved the outdoors and being in the woods every day is where he belonged.  Louie loved to hunt and fish not only in Wisconsin but out west and in Canada as well.

Louie also loved his family and really enjoyed spending time with his two granddaughters.

Louie is survived by this sister Carol of Necedah, sister Patty of Virginia, daughter Lyric Koziol of Camp Douglas and granddaughters Natalie and Violet.

A celebration of life will take place at the Necedah VFW on Sunday, June 9th from 1 pm to 4 pm.  In lieu of flowers, monetary donations will be accepted and a scholarship will be given at the Necedah High School to a student pursuing a degree in Natural Resources.

We are so sorry for your loss. When this happens in our family we need more than human strength. God and his Son can provide what we need. Please review these scriptures : John 5:28-29 “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” Revelation 21:4 “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

    Dear Lyric,
I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I did not know him well but remember how much he loved you when you attended Queen of the Holy Rosary School in first grade.
God rest his soul and bring comfort to you in your sorrow.
    Sincerely,
    Mrs. Mary Bulcher
