McKenzie “Mae” Matrick, age 21, of Adams, Wisconsin passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018.
A celebration of her life will be 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at the Friendship Village Hall, 507 W. Lake St. Friendship, Wisconsin.
Mae was born January 2, 1997, in Mauston, Wisconsin to Mark and Irene Matrick. She grew up in Adams, Wisconsin – graduated from Adams-Friendship High School in 2015. Mae worked at Vista Care in Adams, Wisconsin.
Mae enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Mae was preceded in death by her sister, Heatheryn Nicole Hams.

Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Mark & family, I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful daughter. I haven’t seen you in years but do remember the times I did see you years ago, and feel that I should send you love & know that my heart goes out to you & family for losing such a young life in your daughter. I may not have known her but I am very sad that she has passed WAY too soon. My condolences & heart goes out to you.

There are never words to say when God takes us from this world. God needed another Angel in Heaven and Mae is who he needed at this time. She will be missed by many and always loved in our hearts for ever. The memories are embedded in our minds and hearts. Cherish these memories. God bless Mark and Irene and family. I’m sitting here struggling with words and that’s never been a difficult thing for me. I am so sorry. Mae was such a beautiful and courageous baby girl. She had a twinkle in her eye and her smile..was perfect! Her presence lit up the room when she walked in. It seems like yesterday I was holding her and today shes in the hands of God.
