Melvina Roberts

Melvina Roberts (Mel), age 85, of Necedah, Wisconsin left this world peacefully due to natural causes on Friday, February 7, 2020, at Villa Pines Living Center in Friendship, WI.

A small service will be held at a future date.

Melvina was born in Richland Center, WI on February 6, 1935, the daughter of Harry and Frieda LaQuee.
She attended Necedah High School and then married The Love of Her Life Albert Lee Roberts on June 20, 1953. She later retired from the Necedah screw machine factory.

Melvina loved making beautiful hand made quilts, canning fresh veggies, going to yard sales, cross-stitching, watching the weather channel and talking to her family on the phone. She always loved taking care of stray cats and volunteering at the shelter.
Melvina was preceded in death by her (mom and dad) Harry & Frieda LaQuee (son and daughter) Linda Thiessen & Charles Roberts, and many other siblings and loved ones.

She is survived by her daughters: Diane (Billy) Whitfield, Lorie (Doug) Bowman; daughter-in-law: Dawn Roberts; grandchildren: Jack Zernia, Joel Waite, Brandon & Paul Bowman, and Amber Zernia; many other great-grandchildren, friends, family, loved ones, and loving son-in-law Gary Zernia.
