Richard L. Stormoen

Richard L. Stormoen, age 67, of Friendship, Wisconsin passed away suddenly Sunday, May 12, 2019 at his home.

A celebration of his life is planned from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on June 2nd, 2019 at the Petenwell Pavillion. In case of poor weather, the celebration will be at the Monroe Town Hall.

Richard was born June 27, 1951, in Adams, Wisconsin to Donald and Viola (Anderson) Stormoen. He married Mary Evelyn Belt on January 14, 1994, in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Richard loved spending time with his family, driving his truck, being out by the lake, and enjoyed hunting, and fishing. He was a loving father and a very caring friend. He will be missed by so many. He was a prison guard for several years before driving truck up until his retirement. He enjoyed being over the road. He said it was like a new adventure every day.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Donald & Viola Stormoen and one-half sister.

In lieu of flowers or plants, the family would accept monetary donations at the time.

Sons: Scott, Rick (Julie), Jerry (Lori), Neil, and Travis
Daughters: Doreen (Phil), Jennie, Amber (Ted), Becky, and Nakita (John)
Numerous grandchildren and great children
Four sisters: Shirley (Kerry), Rita (Dave), Bonnie (John), and Barb
one half-brother and one-half sister
