Ozzy Johnson

Robert David Johnson (Ozzy): Succumbed to his 7 yearlong battle with cancer on April 20th,2023 at Mile Bluff Memorial Hospital. Ozzy was surrounded by his children Brittney and Eli, other family, and friends.

Ozzy was born on August 2nd, 1956, in the small town of Adams, Wisconsin. Ozzy attending school at Adams-Friendship. He was known to be adventurous during his teenage years; just ask his siblings. After which, he entered the trades working as a mechanic and in the farming industry. Ozzy was a jack of all trades “Master of many he thought”. Ozzy was blessed with a large and loving family. He had a previous relationship with Angela Bliss (nee-Silas) in 1983. They later in life were blessed with two children together and ended the relationship in 1995.

Ozzy vicariously lived through his grandchildren by going to local festivals and teaching them to fish, telling them tons of wild unforgettable stories, collecting matchbox cars, and building with legos. His grandchildren brought him so much joy and happiness.

  10. Brittney Silas -daughter says:

Dad, it seems like yesterday you were out on the Harley and we were at breakfast. I feel as time past I forgot you were sick and struggling. I am sorry for what life handed you so soon. Because I sure did want you to be able to see us grow more especially your grandchildren. I will miss your dad jokes and the random stuff you would bring over. Even at times I got frustrated lol not knowing what I will do this some of this stuff. You always told me “you just never know when you will need it.” Oh, how I am going to miss that now the small things I took for granite.

This experience and loosing a parent at a young age it honestly has my outlook on life differently.

And to cherish those moments with our loved one. I will finish your bucket list.

    1. Fly in an airplane and you will be with me in spirits.

I love you, there won’t be a time especially fishing I won’t think of you.
