Scott L. Ellis
Scott was born on July 10, 1956, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to James and Valeta (Conger) Ellis. He was raised in Milwaukee and later moved up to Adams County.
On May 26, 1979, Scott married the love of his life, Kim L. Teschendorf, in Milwaukee. After dating for four years, they began a marriage that spanned 47 years, blessing them with 51 wonderful years together.
Scott worked as an HVAC technician in facilities maintenance throughout his career.
A devoted animal lover, Scott had a special place in his heart for all creatures great and small. In his younger years, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Scott will be remembered by many for his witty sense of humor and kind heart, and willingness to help a stranger in need.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, James and Valeta; his brothers, Kent and Troy; and his father-in-law, Ken, with whom he shared a close and special bond.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, Kim; his brother, Roger (Karen); his sister, Jamie (Darren); his sister-in-law, Sandy (Paul); his brother-in-law, Ken (Barb); his faithful dog, Bryce; and other family and friends.

Scott was a surrogate father to me. He was my boss and friend at the Congregational Home. We did all kinds of things together over the years. Scott helped me get my boiler running in an old house I bought. Hard work made super fun by his presence. Truly missed and always thought of, he inspires me til this day. Love you Kim!!!
Kim, We are so sorry for your loss. We are blessed to have known you and him. We will remember him for his humor and his love of animals (even the goose). Our thoughts and prayers go with you!

I’m so very sorry to hear this. Many, many years ago I used to wait on you guys at the bank. I very much enjoyed talking to you both. Hold your memories close!
You were always funny, loyal and thoughtful. We were lucky to have you in our lives and love you so much.
Kim (little KImmy) we are so sorry for your loss of your wonderful Scott. From the first time we met you two we knew you were inseparable. So many wonderful memories. We were so lucky to be a part of your lives. Our love and Hugs to you. Patti and Ron
Uncle Scott loved his family and we loved him. I loved how he made us laugh and was always there to support everyone.
As he and Aunt Kim were meant for each other, he was also meant to help people. He did it without being asked to. All those he helped, even strangers, those kind gestures he did… changed something for the better for everyone.
There is never a good time for loved ones to leave but God decided it was time for him to rest. He will always be with Aunt Kim and we will miss him deeply.
I’m so sorry for your loss. Sending many hugs and prayers for strength during this difficult time. I’m so happy that you guys had the opportunity to grow your lives together over the many years . It was a privilege to know Scott . we can all cherish the memories, remember the smiles, and those looks that he sometimes gave When he wasn’t trying to laugh. My heart aches for all of you. I know he’s looking over all of you, and he’s up there with ma, pops, and Everyone else telling them about the adventures that he had when he was here.
Scott will be remembered by many, even by those who never knew him….
He will be remembered by the two Amish farmers who turned their wagon over to fix a broken wheel on their wagon down in a ditch off the road, and Scott stopped his truck on the highway and went ran down the ditch to help them because he thought they had had an accident.
Then there was the farmer lying underneath a tractor in a field, where Scott spotted him laying there, stopped his truck and went running over to give assistance to a man he thought had had an accident, only to find out he was lying there because it was the only shade he could find in the field he was working in.
Or the lady at Handy Andys, trying to get a gigantic piece of plywood inside her vehicle- over her children’s heads, when Scott saw her and talked to her into letting him put the wood in his truck and follow them home where they could make a birthday sign for their daddy and husband.
THEN there was the golden retriever who fell through with the ice at a Country Club in the Waukesha? area and Scott dove into the ice to help get him out – work clothes and all – and someone else took credit for saving the dog.
That was my brother- in- law Scott. It is a very good thing that he had a huge heart because he kept giving pieces of it to people he thought needed it, even though he never knew them, and they never knew him.
My sister’s heart is breaking and this will be a very difficult road for her to travel, because there will be no Scott to stop and save her.
But with Gods’ help and a lot of prayes, their families will do it. For Scott , so that he may rest in peace with no worries here on Earth, any longer.
We are watching her for you Scott.
I am so sorry for your loss. Scott was a true friend. I enjoyed working with him. I had stopped at the house a few times. He truly put his mark on anyone he was around
