Terry C. Lueth, age 73, of White Creek, Wisconsin passed away Monday, November 11, 2019, at his home with family and friends present.
A celebration of life will be 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 30, 2019, at DJ’s Bar and Grill in White Creek. Interment will be at the White Creek Cemetery at a later date.
Terry was born April 29, 1946, in Madison, Wisconsin to Clarence and Hazel Lueth. He graduated from Madison East High School in 1965, aside his high school sweetheart Cheryl Lumsden whom he later married in 1967.

Terry was a member of the Columbus Fire Dept. for 25 years. Following his retirement, Terry & Cheryl moved to White Creek where he continued to own and operate Lueth’s Garage.
Terry enjoyed motorcycling across the United States with Cheryl. He also enjoyed “beer thirty” with friends and family where he always had a joke or story to tell. His other hobbies included restoring classic cars and raising orphaned raccoons. He lived under the “pay it forward” motto where he selflessly took on jobs to help anyone in need.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence & Hazel, and brother-in-law, William Meredith.

You have my sympathy. He always had a smile on his face while detailing our fire trucks and the funny stories he would share were great when I was 1st on the Fire Dept. Will never forget his attention to details and he could make anything look like brand new!!!
Cheryl and Family,
So very sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathy to all of you.

Terry will be missed by all of us here. He was a great friend, and amazing person. We could always count on him to fix anything electrical we couldn’t figure out. Our condolences to his family and many friends. From Denny and Bodie Colotti, Wes Waterworth, and Jayce Pavloski.
Cheryl and family,
Terry was my other older brother and I loved him like a brother so much. He was there when I lost my brother Randy and he help me with a lot of things that I would have never known what to do. I know he is in good hands up there in heaven with his parents and family. but most of all he is with one of his best friends that they can re-do houses and build or re-build engines like they did here on earth. He is happy of not being in pain and breathing fresh air without problems. I LOVE YOU BIG BROTHER and I am going to miss you so much, I just wish I could have seen you one more time just so you could run me off the road and then back up and ask me if I was okay then take off down the road laughing with my brother. Love Debbie
Just another reminder that time goes so fast, many times we have driven by and wanted to stop but thought it was too late or too early. We should have just stopped.

Cheryl and family so sorry to hear the passing of Terry, he fought along battle with his illness. Now he is out of his pain.
God Bless you Cheryl.
Terry was a one in a million guy and was always “extending” his level of humor towards me. A master of all things automotive, loved cats and helped me bring Columbus squad cars to a level of professional appearance with his applying the graphics. Course it cost a 24 pack of Pepsi… In a weak moment he admitted that every time he saw our squads, it made him very proud since no one else could have done it. I will miss him as a true friend. His journey to meet our Creator is with a renewed spirit and no more bad stuff. Farewell old friend fair winds and following seas and always blue skys.
So sorry for your loss of such a wonderful man. Terry will always be in our hearts and minds. Rest in peace dear friend 🙏
I’m so sorry Cheryl, I’d just like to express my condolences, thinking of you both and he will be missed.
Dear jolly old man,
You were such a character, always laughing about something. Seems like only yesterday you were romancing my cousin and winning her heart. Your bbq chicken in Hawaii was a good time. Aloha Old Soul

Cheryl I was so sad to hear of Terry’s departure of this world. I know he suffered and wasn’t happy not being able to do regular things he liked. It was hard on you to see him deteriorate as his care giver. He is no longer suffering. Take care of yourself my friend. My deepest sympathy.
