Vicki L. Czarnecki

Vicki L. Czarnecki, age 61, of New Lisbon, passed away peacefully Saturday, October 6th, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her family. A private family memorial is planned for a later date.

Vicki was born April 24, 1957, in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, the daughter of Edward and Bonnie (Bires) Kranz. She grew up in the Mauston area and attended Mauston High School. In October of 1975, she married Alan “Al” Czarnecki. Vicki was employed at Kranz Liquor in Mauston for her parents as the Operational Manager for several years before transitioning to working as a Sales Representative for Best Power, Inc. in Necedah, where she worked and retired from in 2005.

Vicki was an exceptionally hard worker, but an even more loving family member. She was able to enjoy her early retirement through traveling the state with her husband to play at many different golf courses in Wisconsin and relaxing at home while spending time with her two sons and two beloved granddaughters. She loved cheering for the Packers, Brewers, and the Badgers. Vicki was like a second Mom to many others and had a loving, nurturing personality and greeted everyone with a smile.

Vicki is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 42 years, Alan; sons, AJ Czarnecki of Middleton and Eric Czarnecki of Tomah; granddaughters, Olivia and Jillian Czarnecki of Tomah; brother Frank (Debbie) Kranz; sisters Patty (Marc) Welch, Sandy (Rob) McFarlin, Mary Kranz; and Sharon Czarnecki, Natty Kranz and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters Annamarie (Wesley) Iraha, Cathy (John) Bundy, and Theresa Kranz (died at birth).
